WHAT'S A PROMOTER?
The Kobolds want to bring new audiences to our live shows, and by helping us do that, you become a promoter! Just bring audience members to our shows and we pay you. That's it.
You can be as ambitious as you like. Whether you simply bring a few friends with you to a show or launch an entire street campaign, you can make cash!
HOW DOES PROMOTION WORK?
Music venues take a cut out of ticket sales to pay for their space and equipment, and the remainder goes to the band. Since our priority is to increase attendance, we offer our cut of the increased sales to you in return for providing bigger audiences!
Rates for promotional compensation are tiered by the total number of people per show accounted for by the promoter (this is to offset the venue's cut from the total attendance). Payments start with only 5 people! And yes, you can even include yourself if you want to attend. Unfortunately, we don't offer free tickets to promoters at this time.

HOW DO I START?
If you're interested in working with us, please register yourself as a promoter by filling out the form below. By giving us this info, we can add you to our online sales to ensure you receive your proper pay. There is absolutely no commitment, and you can begin anytime you like. Please use our list of shows at thekobolds.com/gigs as your guide when promoting, and check back often for updates on upcoming gigs. We do not use your information for anything other than your promoting.
WHAT DO I DO ONCE REGISTERED?
Fulfill your dark purpose! The end goal for you is to put as many people on your show list as possible. There are two ways you can go about adding people to your list:
1. You can escort your peeps. If you plan to attend the show or can drop in with your attendees, flag down a member of either the band or our band management and point out all the people you brought along. We can pay you on the spot for attendees you bring in person.
2. You can make pre-sales. This is good if you don't plan on attending the shows in person or want better assurance that your attendees will, well, attend. You can either collect and deliver their cash ahead of time and give us a list before the show (people on the list, in turn, get in free) OR refer them to our brand-new SHOW PASS PROGRAM. When people buy passes online, they can select the responsible promoter. A couple notes on the Pass Program:
- If the purchaser fails to indicate you as the promoter, we cannot compensate you for their sale. Please ensure your attendees know to select you.
- Since Show Passes are flexible and do not expire, they do not contribute to your total attendee count unless a purchaser USES a pass to attend. Show Passes that are used at a show combine with your cash pre-sale and/or escorted attendees to create your total count on a per-show basis.
If you are not in attendance, we can mail you a check 2-3 days after the performance date. In this case, be sure to include your address below.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact us or include them in your registration below. Thanks for your participation!
